RSN Design: Who We Are

RSN Design specializes in unique fine silver, sterling, pewter, precious and semiprecious jewelry. All jewelry is designed and handcrafted by husband and wife team, Russ and Susan Northrup. Pieces range in price from $12 to $150 dollars.

Each member of this husband and wife team have extensive and varied art backgrounds. They met by chance at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago after both having quit their perfectly good "day jobs." Soon after graduating, they married and Russ started focusing on lost wax casting bronze sculpture while Susan taught Art in the Chicago Public School System for a time.

This web site highlights the jewelry making skills they have developed over the last several years. Susan Northrup is a certified Precious Metal Clay Instructor and has been teaching small workshops for this exciting new medium.
